A superb quality burr walnut writing slope. Brass bound with brass line inlay, oblong brass engraving plate with matching escutcheon, fully working Bramah lock with two original keys. The interior still has its  original tooled skiver in excellent condition, concealed hidden panel with three secret drawers, and locking  top board with original key. The desk tidy has a stationery compartments, a lift out  burr walnut veneered pen tray, nib compartment and a further walnut veneered lidded compartments.
