Solid mahogany plinths, well figured timber to top and curl mahogany drawer fronts.
Full length mahogany lined drawers with working locks and original wooden threaded knobs. Distinctive inset panels with ogee mouldings to the back make this very attractive from both sides.
Newly fitted gilt and blind tooled black hide.

Dealers note: This is an unusual desk inasmuch as it's not veneered anywhere. The top is solid, the plinths are solid and dovetailed and even the mahogany linings are surprisingly good mahogany. The icing on the cake is the solid inset panels at the back, making this unusually attractive from all aspects. A real find!
